Jamie K. Harrington, MD, MHS, is an Advanced Non-invasive Imaging Cardiologist in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Dr. Harrington received her Doctor of Medicine from the Yale University School of Medicine, and completed both her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. She subsequently completed an advanced fellowship in non-invasive cardiac imaging at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Harrington is a board-certified pediatrician with subspecialty board certification in pediatric cardiology.

Dr. Harrington is an attending cardiologist with expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography, as well as cardiac MRI and CT. She cares for children with congenital and acquired heart disease in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. Her research focuses on advanced functional assessment and evaluation of myocardial mechanics, using tools such as deformation imaging with speckle-tracking echocardiography and feature tracking MRI, to help improve the way we care for children at risk of heart dysfunction.
