The experts in the Fetal and Neonatal Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles offer world-class fetal and neonatal care. Many of our programs and services rank among the best in the country. We use a collaborative care approach that leads directly to excellent patient outcomes.
The Fetal and Neonatal Institute offers:
The Neonatal Perinatal Fellowship Program has trained fellows in neonatal and perinatal medicine for over 25 years. Fellows have unique opportunities in the Fetal-Maternal Center, the Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit (NICCU) and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program. Each fellow also spends a two- to four-week rotation in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) to learn more about neonatal cardiac surgery.
We admit six fellows each year to this three-year program. Learn more about the Neonatal Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program.
We coordinate closely with referring providers on their patients’ fetal and neonatal care. Please see our referral instructions for details and a complete list of contacts for all Children’s Hospital departments.
To refer patients to our fetal and neonatal specialists, please use our Outpatient Referral Form (PDF) or contact us at 323-361-5939.
