Children's Hospital Los Angeles is proud to be the pediatric provider for many major insurance health plans and medical groups. Our hospital contracts with more than 250 health plans/medical groups. Below is a list of the top health plans/medical groups with whom we work with most often.
If your health plan or medical group is not listed below, please contact the customer service phone number listed on your health insurance card to verify if our hospital is part of their provider network.
If you have an insurance benefit plan that allows you to access health care services from providers that are not contracted (“out-of-network”) with your health plan or medical group or, if you are not using or do not have health care insurance and will be paying for our services directly, you may speak with a hospital financial counselor regarding coverage and a rate quote for your child's visit, procedure or hospital stay at 323-361-2325.

The hospital is a provider for the Medi-Cal Managed Care health plans. If you have questions, please call our Admitting Department at 323-361-2325.
Our services are covered if you have Medi-Cal coverage and have signed up with one of the following health plans:
California Children's Services assists with payment for medical services for children or young adults with specified medical conditions. For questions regarding gaining assistance from California Children's Services, please call us at 323-361-5141.
Medical services covered by CCS must be pre-authorized and provided by CCS-approved doctors and hospitals. The program is open to anyone who meets the following requirements:
The Healthy Families Program is a government-funded health coverage program which offers low-cost health insurance to the children of families whose incomes make them ineligible for Medi-Cal but still fall below certain levels. It provides health, dental, and vision insurance to eligible children not covered by insurance.
Qualifying for the Healthy Families Program is easy. Children under the age of 19 may be eligible if they do not have health insurance and if their parents fall within specified income levels. If you have questions, please call 888-747-1222.
