Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program

The Fetal-Neonatal Institute has trained fellows in neonatal-perinatal medicine for over 40 years. When joining the CHLA Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program, trainees have unique opportunities in the Fetal-Maternal Center, the Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit (NICCU) at CHLA, and other clinical training sites. They will gain experience in cutting edge neonatal treatments such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program and Renal Replacement Therapy. The program has a strong focus on training future academic neonatologists, creating foundations for a life-long research career.

We admit two fellows each year to this three-year program.
