Allyson Gomez, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC

After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Duke University, I joined CHLA in the new graduate program. I was drawn to CHLA because of its strong commitment to providing high quality care. I spent 7 years as a bedside nurse in the Heart Institute where I enjoyed educating and empowering families in the care of their children. I then attended the University of California, Los Angeles for my master’s degree and joined the Gastroenterology department as a Nurse Practitioner. I primarily focus on children with inflammatory bowel disease, some liver problems, and other gastrointestinal disorders. I love working with our families to help children thrive.
