Elissa Singson, MSN, APRN, PHN, CPNP-AC

I have been a registered nurse since 2011 and an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner since 2017. I developed a passion about caring for children since my pediatric clinical rotation in nursing school. I was inspired by the happiness and resilience of my pediatric patients. After a few years of working as a pediatric medical/surgical RN, I wanted to provide more care, management, and advocacy for my patients. I pursued a master’s degree in nursing and became a pediatric nurse practitioner. Since then, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience with the Division of Infectious Diseases.

The most enjoyable part of being a pediatric nurse practitioner is the opportunity to make my patients smile and improve their quality of life.
