Jasmine Gasca, MPAP, PA-C
Jasmine graduated from the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2016 and shortly after joined the Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Initially, it was her interest in helping underprivileged communities that led her to pursue a major in Sociology which provided ample opportunity to volunteer in neighborhood clinics, hospitals, and integrated programs such as Child Life. Her involvement in these spaces motivated her pursuit of becoming a medical professional, but it was her daughter’s diagnosis that not only catapulted but solidified her career goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.
Jasmine’s faith, personal struggles and accomplishments with her family dynamic has allowed her to connect with families on a special level and empower them to achieve the best care possible for their child regardless of the medical need here at CHLA.
