Jessica Deas, MD

Dr. Deas is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in pediatric nutrition and intestinal rehabilitation. Dr. Deas received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland in Oakland, California. She completed fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology and advanced fellowship training in nutrition/intestinal rehabilitation and inflammatory bowel disease at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Deas' interests include nutritional management of gastrointestinal diseases, neonatal feeding and nutrition, and advancing care of short bowel syndrome. Her clinical approach combines patient and family-centered care with the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine, in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary GI team.

Dr. Deas speaks English and Spanish.

Clinical Interests

Intestinal rehabilitation, home parenteral and enteral nutrition, neonatal feeding and nutrition. Dr. Deas also treats a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, constipation, gastro-esophageal reflux, and abdominal pain.
