Joshua Kallman, MD
Dr. Kallman was born and raised in the border city of El Paso, Texas. He completed his Medical School training at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso, Texas, and his Pediatrics Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. During his DBP fellowship at CHLA, he spent a full year doing team assessments in the Boone Fetter Clinic and has developed a DBP private practice in the Developmental Behavioral Health Center (DBHC). He also sees patients in DBP Clinic at Westlake AltaMed and the School Age Clinic (SAC) affiliated with the UCEDD and Department of Mental Health.
His specific interests in the field of DBP include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), integrating trauma-informed care into school and community based settings, and Early Intervention. In addition to his work in the DBHC, AltaMed, and SAC, he is leading the DBP rotation for the Pediatric Residents. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking and exploring beaches.
