Karen Kwan, MD
After growing up in sunny Southern California and being a UCLA Bruin throughout undergrad and medical school, Dr. Kwan decided to move to the East Coast to experience the seasons as a resident in Boston. After thoroughly exploring the East Coast and experiencing a couple of Nor’easters, she headed back to Los Angeles for fellowship and is currently in her 7th year of attending at CHLA. She is currently the Director of Resident and Medical Students for the ED, busy scheduling shift and organizing resident lectures. He research interest and projects include resident/medical student education, appendicitis, and constipation management.
Along those lines, Dr. Kwan loves eating good food with good friends and hanging out with her family.
