Lina Hernandez, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC

Nurse Practitioner

Born in a small village near Bogotá, Colombia, I witnessed firsthand the profound effects of illness and disease on an impoverished community with limited access to medical care and education. These early experiences, combined with my transition to the United States, laid the foundation for my empathetic nature and inspired me to pursue a career in nursing. My journey from Colombia to becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner has been driven by a deep passion for giving back and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

I am passionate about global health, pediatric neurology, and pediatric movement disorders. Whether in the inpatient or outpatient settings, my goal is to offer comprehensive, patient-centered care. Ensuring that every child and family receives the support and care they need.

I specialize in caring for children with a wide range of conditions, including neurologic disorders, chronic illnesses, and developmental challenges. I have also volunteered with Operation Smile, which has deepened my commitment to global health and improved my understanding of diverse medical needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, animals, reading, food, volunteering, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
