Melissa Peterson, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, PMHNP
I enjoy working with children and teens who have congenital heart defects and caring for them before, during, and after their surgery. I first entered the world of pediatric cardiology as a CICU nurse as a new grad. Although I did not expect to develop such a connection with this specialty population, I have enjoyed serving them in different roles during my career: nurse, transplant coordinator, and NP. My goal is to care for these patients with a holistic focus on physical and mental health.
