Minesh Patel, DO

Attending Physician
Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Keck School of Medicine of USC

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences. He then went on to train at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he completed his general pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship. He is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. 

His special interests lie in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) where he has been an active participant in the IBD clinic and Improve Care Now with his previous institution. He also has interest in Eosinophilic Esophagitis.

A particular interest of his is in regards to community service volunteering. He has been an active participant as both a camp physician and a camp counselor. He served as a camp physician at Camp Cavett in Oklahoma, a camp for children with chronic illnesses. He has also served as a camp counselor for Camp Oasis, a camp sponsored by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation for children with IBD.
