Dr. Om Jha is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in the Division of Neonatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Jha is a member of the Kidney Focus Group of Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium.

Dr. Jha earned his medical degree from Medical College Kolkata, India and completed his pediatric residency from Patna Medical College in India and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL. He completed a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at the University of Southern California Neonatology program, Los Angeles in 2015.

Dr. Jha has interests in innovation and entrepreneurial. He holds a patent from United States Patent and Trademark Office on “Newborn Temperature and Heart Monitor Apparatus and Method.”

Dr Jha is the one of the lead clinicians for neonatology, collaborating closely with the nephrologists within the CHLA neonatal Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) program, including the ability to provide neonatal dialysis 24/7.
