Shruti Nabar, MD, FAAP
I became interested in children with gastrointestinal disorders during my residency training, specifically developing an interest in general gastroenterology as well as neurogastroenterology and motility disorders. I later completed fellowships in both fields. I enjoy fostering long-term relationships with my patients, who bring me joy and fulfillment every day. I find that taking care of children is natural and rewarding, and this also allows me to exercise my skills in science, critical thinking, education, and teamwork on a daily basis.
Outside of my professional interests, I am an avid reader and enjoy a wide variety of genres including science fiction, fantasy, East Asian fiction, and nonfiction. I also enjoy creative writing and regularly practice yoga and meditation.
