Sophia Tapper, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, CPN
I got my undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Following this, I worked as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and BMT RN for several years. I immediately became inspired by my resilient patients and their families. I was also fascinated with the medicine and research. I knew I needed to deepen my knowledge and expertise by becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing where I specialized as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Pediatric Oncology. I am especially interested in cellular therapy and the use of immunotherapy/biotherapy to maximize treatment effects while minimizing toxicities.
