Tamara Kheir, MHS, PA-C
My journey into medicine began with my younger sister, who has special needs, and has undergone numerous orthopedic surgeries for her feet, legs, and spine. Seeing the care and support she received during a period of health challenges inspired me to provide that same level of compassion and care to other patients as well as their families at CHLA.
While I initially started my career working with adults in neurosurgery for two years, I’ve always had a passion for working with kids. As the oldest of three children, I was the built-in babysitter and enjoyed roles as a volunteer, camp counselor, and leader on mission trips involving children throughout my college and post-graduate career.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends, exploring local restaurants, and watching sports.
