At a young age, I began volunteering at an assisted living and fell in love with caring for people. It was not until my pediatric rotation in nursing school that I realized I enjoyed working with children and their families. My ultimate goal was to become a pediatric nurse practitioner to promote wellness and encourage disease prevention. I had a clinical rotation in the epilepsy department at CHLA, while I was in PNP school, and fell in love with this patient population. I enjoy providing patients the opportunity to improve their quality of life. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others through precepting nurse practitioner students. I also love being a mom, spending time with my family, hiking and traveling.
