Trisha Srivastava, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC
Prior to graduate school, I worked in quality improvement at a biotech startup making long-acting rGH and then transitioned to do pharmacovigilance at Gilead. I did this while administering ABA therapy to children on the spectrum. After my nursing year of my education, I worked as a pediatric psychiatric RN while finishing the NP portion of my training. Once licensed as a NP, I worked a few months in pediatric urgent care before starting at CHLA where I worked in Neurosurgery as the APP to the Chief of Surgery. I saw all diagnoses but specialized specifically in brain tumors including pituitary tumors. This role was very special to me as my sibling was a neurosurgery patient as a child. After two years in Neurosurgery, I transitioned to Endocrinology where I currently practice. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones - including my cat - swimming, running, exploring nature and cities, and enjoying all art especially music, dance, TV/film.
Childhood is a sacred, magical, and impactful time, and sickness/disability impact the entire family – so it is an honor to serve and protect you and your child by caring for their health. While the work we do at Children’s can be demanding, my cup is filled with the silly, joyous souls of my patients, and the passion and brilliance of my colleagues.
