Tyler Tetreault, MD
Tyler Tetreault, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Tetreault specializes in the treatment of pediatric spinal disorders and general pediatric musculoskeletal care. He has a special interest in the surgical and nonsurgical care of pediatric cervical spine disorders and early onset scoliosis.
Dr. Tetreault graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a BA in biophysics. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston for his medical degree before completing his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Colorado. Dr. Tetreault then completed an additional two years of subspecialty fellowship training, first in pediatric orthopedics and spinal deformity surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and then returning to the University of Colorado for additional fellowship training in advanced adult spine surgery.
Dr. Tetreault recognizes that every child’s needs are different, and that successful treatment plans must be individualized to each patient. He strives to help families understand all treatment options, both surgical and nonsurgical, that are available to them. He is committed to helping families make well-informed decisions regarding their child’s care.
