Wendy Leung, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC

I have been a hematology pediatric nurse practitioner at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles since 2012, specializing in bleeding and clotting disorders. Prior to this, I worked for 11 years at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 8 years of which as a pediatric hematology nurse practitioner. I still remember switching my major to nursing in college. The idea of applying my knack for science for the sake of helping families navigate through their experience of illness seemed so fulfilling, and it sure is. I love walking alongside families with bleeding or clotting disorders, using every opportunity to provide education and celebrate families as they learn to manage medical conditions over time.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling the world in search of good food and making lasting memories with my husband and 2 children.
