Dr. Turiy is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She joined the Heart Institute team in 2023. She attended University of California Los Angeles for her undergraduate degree and earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology. She earned her medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine and concurrently attended George Washington University School of Public Health to earn a Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in health policy. She completed her pediatric residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and went on to do her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Her primary interests include care of hospitalized children with congenital heart disease as well as outpatient general cardiology.
