Cerebrovascular Reserve and White Matter Disease in Patients with Chronic Anemia

A study to look at how having chronic anemia impacts the brain.

Eligibility
1) Sickle cell disease or Thalassemia with 7 years and above
2) Healthy volunteers who are Hispanic or African American and 18 years and above
3) Able to tolerate 1 hour of MRI
4) Not pregnant or nursing
