Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to Host Symposium on Congenital Aortic Valve Stenosis
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles will host a special educational symposium on “Aortic Valve Stenosis: From Fetus to Adult” at the 8th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Washington, D.C.
The dinner event, which will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 28, will review the diagnosis and management challenges of congenital aortic valve stenosis across the age spectrum.
Paul Kantor, MBBCh, MSc, FRCPC—Chief of the Division of Cardiology and Co-Director of the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—will serve as moderator for the event, which will feature multiple presentations from CHLA faculty, as well as a panel discussion.

The World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery will be held Aug. 27-Sept. 1 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This year’s meeting will mark the first time the event will take place in the continental United States.
