Every month, Children's Hospital Los Angeles requires at least 1,000 volunteer donors’ blood products to support the care and treatment of our young patients. You can help by joining our upcoming blood drive—just one donation can save up to two children’s lives.

We encourage you to join our blood drive by scheduling in advance. You can do this by visiting chladonateblood.org. Want to make an even bigger difference? Bring a friend and double your impact!

To donate, you must:

  • Be at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more
  • Bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license preferred)
  • Be well-hydrated and feeling healthy on the day of donation

If you’re currently taking medication, have a medical condition, or have recently traveled outside the U.S., please contact us at 323-361-2441 in advance.
