Skilled Clinicians
The clinicians in our Infusion Center set the standard for delivery of these services in Southern California. Our experts have developed written guidelines that have become the gold standard for pediatric and young adult infusion and transfusion care. We also serve as the area’s primary training hub, meaning that when clinicians want to expand their infusion and transfusion delivery expertise, they come to us.
Nursing staff members are nationally certified through the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON), having received specialized training in the delivery of infusion care for children, adolescents and young adults. They also are knowledgeable in family-centered methods of supporting patients.
Receiving care on our main campus means that your child will be in close proximity to experts from a multitude of specialty areas as well as emergency or intensive care unit medical care if needed.
