Children With Special Needs
Children with special needs, also called access and functional needs, are at-risk during disasters and emergencies. This includes those who have physical, emotional or developmental conditions. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the LA County Emergency Medical Services Agency have put together emergency preparedness resources to help children with access and functional needs, and their family members, caregivers and other health care professionals.
