Asavari Kamerkar, DO
Dr. Kamerkar completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts in 2011 and her Pediatric Chief Residency Year in 2012. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in 2015 and continued on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine. She received a certificate in Clinical, Biomedical, and Translational Investigations in 2016. Dr. Kamerkar’s major areas of research interest are in congenital heart disease and aspects of post-surgical management, particularly related to cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and respiratory physiology.
