Rana M. Shoaib, PhD
Rana Shoaib earned his PhD in Pharmacy from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. During his PhD, he studied the molecular basis of pain sensation and published his research in peer-reviewed international journals. At the Mahato Laboratory, Rana is conducting research in developing a chemical-based strategy for the regeneration of retinal neurons such as retinal ganglion cells and photoreceptors.
Aregnazan Sandrosyan
Aregnazan Sandrosyan is a visiting research scholar at the Mahato laboratory. She earned her BA from California State University-Northridge. Aregnazan conducts research on developing an improved reprogramming protocol for the generation of retinal cells.
Zimeng Wang
Zimeng Wang is a visiting research scholar at the Mahato laboratory. Currently she is pursuing her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. Zimeng assists in reagent preparation and in conducting research at the Mahato Laboratory.
