Vision Center Information for Medical Professionals
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles delivers advanced and personalized vision care to children. We treat all pediatric eye disorders and have ophthalmologists who subspecialize in specific conditions, offering expertise not widely available on the West Coast. We have extensive experience with rare vision disorders and complex treatments.

- Extensive treatment options: Our team of over 20 ophthalmologists, optometrists and orthoptists provides subspecialized care for virtually every pediatric eye condition. We offer all types of surgical and nonsurgical eye treatments. CHLA is one of a limited number of centers delivering FDA-approved eye gene therapy treatment to children.

Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Fellowship
The Vision Center offers a one- or two-year fellowship program. It’s designed to provide a rich, hands-on experience with pediatric ophthalmology. The program offers exposure to a wide variety of childhood vision conditions. It includes involvement in the care and management of all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology.
