Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Research and Clinical Trials
Our pulmonologists conduct research at The Saban Research Institute of CHLA. They’re also active in international pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine research, clinical trials and organizations. Many of our doctors serve on committees that establish clinical care guidelines.
Your patient receives evidence-based care. They may also benefit from promising new therapies still in clinical trial development. Learn more about our pulmonology and sleep medicine research.
Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Fellowships and Education
As an academic hospital, our fellowship program helps educate and train the next generation of pediatric pulmonologists and sleep medicine specialists. We’re 1 of 6 centers nationwide to receive a $1.5 million grant from the U.S Health Resources and Services Administration. This grant enabled our team to develop a leadership program for pediatric pulmonology health care professionals, including fellows, nurses and respiratory care practitioners.
