Getting Books While at the Hospital

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles offers books to children and families while they are staying in the hospital and while they are here for clinic visits and outpatient procedures.

For current inpatients and families

Every day children are in the hospital, each family member can select and keep a free, brand-new book, compliments of Literally Healing and CHLA. Learn more about books for children and families in the hospital.

For outpatients/during clinic visits

If families are just visiting the hospital for the day they can ask their clinic front desk for a free book to read and take home during each clinic visit. Literally Healing currently supports over 35 clinics at CHLA. Learn more about Literally Healing for outpatients.
